When you are strolling down the park, camping or out on a picnic in the summer, a cool and tasty smoothie can make all the difference between a terrible and memorably good holiday. But how can you make a smoothie without a blender? Guess again, because I have here some recipes that you can do WITHOUT A BLENDER that are so good that it will make your taste buds thank you.
Fruit Powder Smoothie
Add 1 table spoon on fruit powder of your desired fruit and add 1 cup of water to make a pasteby stirring vigorously. Add as much as sweetener as you desire. You can also add ¼ cup of dairy milk or coconut milk to make it creamier. It can be done with all sorts of fruits like strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, pomegranate etc. Fruit powder is usually freeze dried so it is very nutritious. It does not require chopping or does not go bad so is very suitable when travelling. It does not require preservatives so is very healthy.
Mashed Soft Fruit Smoothie
If you prefer to make smoothies with fresh fruits that use soft fruits like ripe bananas, mangoes, or berries. Just take the fruits in a bowl and squish it with a fork until it has turned into a mushy liquid.Then add 1 cup of water, juice, or milk and stir it until it is perfectly mixed. Add a little sugar if you please.
Shaking the smoothie is more preferable as it ensures better mixing and hence better taste.
Non Electric Food Processor Smoothies
Just add 1 soft fruit and 1 cup of water, juice, or milk and off course sweeteners to this amazing device. Turn the handle a few times and voila! You have a delicious smoothie that you can make anywhere. This process does not require electricity so can be done anywhere and requires little work when compared to the other two.
Body Shaping Smoothies
When you are in the mood to lose a few pounds and stay fit but still can’t resist cool and tasty smoothies this is the recipe for you. Take 1 handful of ice and 2 cups of almond milk. Add 2 table spoons of protein powder and ½ table spoon of organic matcha along with 1 table spoon of tahini and a pinch of cinnamon. You can add 1 smashed banana if you desire.
Take 1 handful of ice and 1 ½ cups of cashew milk. Add 2 table spoons of protein powder and a pinch of cinnamon and ¼ teaspoon of vanilla essence. Shake the content for 15 minutes and you have smoothies that are high in protein and contain essential nutrients and are great energy boosters.
Take a handful of ice and 1 ½ cups of unsweetened chilled hibiscus tea. Add ¼ cup of raspberries, 1 table spoons of table powder, 1 tablespoon of organic superfood, and 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt. Shake well for 15 minutes and you just made yourself a shake rich in antioxidants. It gives strength and structure to your skin and is vital for elasticity and firmness and helps improve your skin’s hydration and elasticity.
